Protein Studios offers five interconnected “white box” studios and two fully-equipped production rooms available for hire. You can hire just one - or go big and hire them all, or anything in-between. It’s entirely up to you.

Designed for flexibility and functionality, our studios feature 5m to 8.5m high ceilings, street-level vehicle access, 3-phase power, and abundant south-facing natural light—all in a prime Shoreditch Triangle location.

Studios 4&5

Spanning 13,000 sq ft with a total capacity of up to 1,000 people, Protein Studios is one of the most versatile event venues in Shoreditch. Studios 4 + 5 — a former joinery transformed into a striking ground-floor space — bring serious scale and flexibility to the mix.

With 8.5m-high vaulted ceilings, an industrial warehouse aesthetic, a dedicated production office, and a private outdoor courtyard, this duo is built for high-impact moments. Whether you're hosting a fashion show, brand activation, conference, film shoot, or product launch, Studios 4 + 5 deliver the space, flow, and creative freedom to make it happen.

Studio 3

Our smallest studio is here to remind you that size isn’t everything. Whether you need a green room, cloakroom, back-of-house area, or a tucked-away breakout space, Studio 3 has you covered.

It’s also a great add-on — perfect for extending events in Studios 2 or 4 + 5, offering seamless flow between spaces.

Please note: Studio 3 is not available to hire on its own.

Studio 2

As the largest of our three front-facing studios, Studio 2 is a proven favourite for mid-scale events. It’s hosted everything from brand activations, exhibitions, and pop-up shops to fundraisers and immersive experiences.

With shutter access that allows you to walk or drive directly into the space, Studio 2 makes load-ins seamless and production teams happy. The vibe is clean, bright, and endlessly customisable — ready to adapt to your creative vision.

Studio 1

Studio 1 sets the tone from the moment guests arrive. Featuring a distinctive Tala light installation, a stylish tiled counter ideal for bar service or registration, and sliding doors into Studio 2, this front-facing space is all about flow, mood, and multi-functionality.

Whether you use it as an entrance and cloakroom, a coffee break nook, a panel talk stage, or a chic cocktail bar, Studio 1 offers atmosphere, style, and versatility in one welcoming package.
